Gigabyte H55M-UD2H drivers
 

Hey everyone linux newbie here got a small problem with getting the above drivers i have looked everywhere for the last two weeks to no avail i have been having some trouble getting my new pc to start up ,everytime it starts now it either freezes or asks me to run ubuntu in low graphics mode which is starting to get on my nerves yesterday it wouldnt start up at all just went to a black screen with this error running down the page over and over again
i915_do_wait_request returns -5 ERROR hangcheck timer elapsed ...gpu hung

i have the cd i got with motherboard but its only for that other op/s and wont read it or install software

CPU: Intel Core i3 2.93GHz @ 4.00ghz
RAM: Corsair XMS3 (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel
Cooler: Artic Cooling Freezer 7 CPU Cooler
HD: samsung f3 1tb sata 2 32mb cache
drive:samsung blu ray player

any ideas please
