GFT Question

I downloaded and installed GFT and I'm confused how to used this.

In the left panel is /home/userid/ and the files in that directory. The right panel has nothing in it.

I want to FTP some files from the above directory to my C:\TEMP on my Windows machine.

I don't under stand how to make the connection. What do I need to key into the right panel to do this?

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks

Please provide a URL for "GFT" for those of us who don't even know what that is.

I assume the OP wants help with using gFTP.
Your left panel is the local file system and the right panel is the remote server. The reason it is blank is because you are not connected. At the top of the app there should be windows where you enter the server address, username etc. However, for this to work a FTP server must be running on the windows PC.

Did you ever get SSH working? If so it might be easier to use winSCP which is a windows GUI SSH application that is similar to gFTP.
