gfortran: error trying to exec 'f591': on SUSE 11.0

I have gfortran from the 4.3 gcc trunk on Suse 11.0 (and libraries).
When I run gfortran foo.f, I get
gfortran: error trying to exec 'f591': execvp: no such file or directory.

I have already run
zypper ve -D

and there is no indication of anything missing.

Help would be much appreciated.

This page http://www.macresearch.org/error_try...e_or_directory seems to cover the problem you're having, and has some possible solutions.
