Getting Things to work

Hi i just installed Fedora Core, and this is my first experiance with linux. When playing games i get horrible Frames per second. Im lucky to hit 12 :/ . I dont really know how to install the drivers, or even what to install. heres my specs.

Amd Sempron 2500+
(Gigabyte) Radeon 9600XT
MSI k7n2 Delta
160Gig HD
52x32x52x CD-RW

I havnt really installed anything accept fedora. If u tell me proper cmmd's for logs that u might need, ill get them to you. Please help a complete and utterly (as if now) useless linux user

depends on which version of X you are using, which in turn would depend on which version of fedora core you installed... if you are using fedora core 3, then you'd want the driver labeled "X.Org 6.8"...

BTW, it would be a good idea to add your distro (and version) to your profile so it'll be easy for people helping you to know what you are running...
