Getting the NUMPAD to work with VIM


THis is a noob question therefore im posting it here

When i vim a file and hit i to insert, i cant use the numberpad on the KB. How can i edit this so that the numbers work?

Not silly at all and by looks of if you've never tried this since hitting the numlock brings up a split screen.

Can anyone help with this issue?
