getting some issue while installing ClearCase 7.1.0.0 on linux(red hat 5.4)


hi
could you please help me why i am getting the following issues by runnung the below command which was written in INSTAL script

[root@localhost linux]# cat INSTALL

I would guess that it's because you're running the script as root but are running X as a regular user.

I'd re-read the install instructions and see what they say. You could probably get around it by logging in as root to start with or by using sudo or by not using Clearcase ;-)
