Post getting slax off my computer


im srsly a n00b. i dont know how to get slax off my computer. it did not install properly and i cant boot it. i have to boot it from a disk still and i want to be able to go into windows. can anyone help me?

edit: without reformatting the disk.

Boot your Windows Disk - (assuming XP) load up into the Recovery Console, choose which Windows version to fix (should only be one), and from the CLI it gives you, type:

C:\ FIXMBR

Follow the instructions.

Then do:

C:\ FIXBOOT

Exit, and reboot.

That should now boot into windows, but with no option to boot into Slax - simply reformat the Slax partition under Knoppix or the Slax LiveCD, and try again.
