Dear Sir
I have selected (Y) for following options : AMD PCnet32 PCI SUPPORT AMD 8111(NEW PCI LANCE ) SUPPORT in Device Drivers -> Network device support -> Ethernet (10 or 100Mbit) but now I am getting two more errors along with my previous one . loading modules:FATAL :Module pcnet32 not found Failed to load modules :pcnet32 Please suggest me what do i do ,also tell me if you need any other information from me . Thanks and Regards SAURABH JAIN |
Did you compile the driver as a module or statically into the kernel?
You selected Y and not M, right? In this case, no modprobe is necessary. Do you have eth0 now? can you please post the output of ifconfig -a please? |
I have selected y before and it did not work .ifconfig was also not showing anything .But later when I used M to select pcnet in cofiguration of kernel it works fine . So I need to know why it didn't work when I select Y in kernel configuration .
Anyways Thanks a lot for Help! Regards SAURABH JAIN |
Sorry, this is beyond me.
