getting internet viw windows machine in SUSE

Hi

Here is the setup

Windows XP (connected to the internet)
Dual Boot machine (Windows and SUSE 9.1)

They are connected via a crossover cable and the connection works fine because when booted in via windows XP you can get the internet.

Is is possible for SUSE attain internet via the windows XP box?

I know it is better to do it the other way around but these are not my computers, they are a friends and I cannot change the setup.

thanks

It is as easy as making sure the two machines are connected (can ping each other), enable Internet Connection Sharing on the Windows machine, then set the gateway on the SuSE machine to the address of the Windows machine. Don't forget to set the DNS entries on the SuSE machine or it won't be able to resolve web requests.
