Getting Grub To Recognize Windows 8.1
I've partitioned my 2 TiB HDD and have both Windows 8.1 and Linux Mint Debian Edition installed. This computer came with Windows 8.1 already factory installed (it is a brand new HP Envy 700-216. However, I cannot get the GRUB menu to recognize Windows. How do I do this?

Did you read the pages on the links referred to in your other post?
Are you able to now boot Linux Mint? To get more info on your layout, you could go to the site below from the installed Mint or the Mint CD and read the instructions, then download and run the bootinfoscript and post the output, a results.txt file which will provide much more detailed information on your system. That should provide information for someone to help. http://sourceforge.net/projects/bootinfoscript/ |
