getting error(s) while trying to use aircrack-ng on ubuntu 10.4
 
can someone show me how to use aircrack-ng on ubuntu 10.4? cos i actually installed it using 'sudo apt-fast install aircrack-ng' but got some error when i tried sudo airodump-ng eth1. i use dell inspiron 1545,maybe the following result will help

I for one would not help you to perform any of the above. If you are wanting to learn from a security standpoint then use proper avenues.

at onebuck, i actually do not have any intention of causing damage to any third party, it is just for my own learning purpose in my home network. cos the aircrack worked om ubuntu 9.04 so, i was wandering why it is not working on 10.4. so i'd be glad if u can help me

Hi,

Then try 'Missing your Wireless Drivers?' . Sure it's for earlier versions but can still use binary firmware.
