Getting back to Linux (Ubuntu) after 5 years - Where's the Terminal?

Hi,
Decided to try Linux again. I Tried 5 years ago and had so many problems, I finally gave up and went back to Windows.
I am now in the process of re-learning.
What a difference!!! Everything seems to be right there, no more fussing around looking for drivers, etc.
But, I can't find the Terminal. Is it even needed anymore?
Thanks,
Will

Another way is to hold down the Ctrl+Alt+t keys simultaneously.
