Gentoo Live Cd Wont boot and gives error

I know that there is no Gentoo forum on here but I need help. I am trying to do an install of Gentoo and have a LIve CD that I know works on other machines but it will not boot on the computer I have to load it on. I am looking for a boot disk that would allow me to boot the Gentoo Kernel off the CD from a Disk. Does anyone know of a good live disket or boot disket that will allow me to do this?

do you get an error booting, or does it not boot from the CD?

if it just doesn't boot, check your BIOS and make sure it is set to boot from CD

This is the error I get when it attempts to boot from the CDRom: error 01ax 424495. I do not understand why some computers will boot it but not others. The Cdrom Drive is a Aopen 940e if that helps any.

no that doesn't help

if you have another CDROM to switch out just to get it goin.

i don't know of any gentoo floppies out there.
