Angry Gentoo Keyboard Problems!

Hey. I'm having problems with my keyboard when I install Gentoo. I installed it first using Stage 3 tarballs, and then Stage 1 tarballs, and it still doesn't work at all. My system boots fine to the login prompt, but I can't type anything. The keyboard is connected properly because my system boots, period. But it just isn't working right. Is there PS/2-ness I need to build into the kernel or something? Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Have you tried another easier to load distr (mandrake)? I'm in the process of installing gentoo (8 hours for kde...that's great). Anyways, try another distro and see if your keyboard is waxed.
