Geforce 4 ti4200 AXP x 8
Ok guys, was fidling around with my x86config file trying to get better resolutions and get linux to identify my monitor and I stuffed it. My monitor wasn't detected and xfconfig ran. I managed to get back into X with a really nice resolution but with vesa drivers, not the Nvidia ones. I installed the Nvidia drivers again but there's still something in my x86config that X doesn't like and the Nvidia drivers still won't load.
I think it may be they Chipset. It's set to "vesa" and I know that's not correct. Could anybody tell me what I need to replace vesa with in the ChipSet section.
Driver "nvidia"
VendorName is "nVidia Corporation"
Boardname "NV28 [Geforce 4 Ti 4200 AGP 8x]
ChipSet "vesa" <--------------think this is wrong
BusID "PCI:1:0:0"
Cheers
