Google is your friend:

Google: geany autocomplete

According to one source on the link list, Geany doesn't have autocomplete. According to another, it works fine.

So I have to ask -- which file type are you trying to edit? Is the file being identified by Geany as a type it knows about? The giveaway that it recognizes the filetype would be appropriate syntax highlighting.
