GDM could not write to authorization file

Good Day,

I use gnome. Yesterday I installed a gnome ssh client. This morning I wasn't able to login using my id.

error::
"GDM could not write to authorization file"

I have enough space in root partition only 23% is used.(every thing is mounted under /)

I am able to login as root.
I am able to login into terminal session using <myid>.

I tried to switch to kde but seems like gnome is still the boss and it tries to manage login attempts.

Any ideas?

Thank you.

Probably you don't own /home/youruser/.Xauthority
do a chown youruser /home/youruser/.Xauthority && chmod u+rw /home/youruser/.Xauthority

1-I did chown -R myid:myid /home/homedir.
Every thing is owned by me but still not able to login.

2-Then I created a new user "champ"
home dir /champ
still champ won't login.

3-I also made myid part of root group but same results.

Thanks.
