Smile gdm and gdm-password problem


after install ubuntu I found gdm and I vi gdm it but I didn't found gdm-password code so what happened that ??

after install ubuntu 10 I'm vi gdm source code and then I continue try to edit gdm-password source code but I didn't found gdm-password source code what happened is that ??

I some what sort-of understand what you are saying, but once again, what are you trying to accomplish? And what file are you opening in vim?
