gcc complation issue for libsoap.a and libsoapEncDec.a
Hi ,
I was compiling one module on gcc which has soap related functions like soap_init,soap_init2 etc.
All the object files are created but at the time of linking soap libraries libsoap.a and libsoapEncDec.a i am getting an error of " File format not recognized."
libsoap.a: file not recognized: File format not recognized
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status.
Can anyone please help me short this problem.
I tried to compile gsoap directory and link the library even though i am getting same error.
Additionally please compilation process of gsoap. I might be doing some compilation mistake because i was doing the compilation of gsoap for the first time.
You told you changed the arch. I think the lib you wanted to link was built for different arch, not the actual one. But you gave insufficient information, it is only a guess.
