gcc compiler.
 

been awhile since installing.
I use vmware and need gcc compiler. usually I can find it by add/remove programs. things have changed. so I tried yum install and had a couple of errors.
Is there a command from a terminal after signing in as SU and doing a CD that will install what is needed.

The gcc should be installed by the first time when the OS is installed!
Just type in your shell: gcc
