gcc 3.2.2 install problem
Hi,
I am trying to install gcc 3.2.2 on my red hat linux machine , which has no working compiler gcc installed earlier. When i tried to download the source file & proceeded with ./configure , I am asked to set the environment variable to a working compiler. Can anyone please suggest me how to go about this issue. Being novice , am i missing any basic stuff. Thanks in Advance |
you must have a compiler to compile a compiler.
Which RedHat distro are you using? RedHat comes with the GCC compiler. |
