which games?
how did you try to install them?
how are you trying to execute them?

quote the section of xorg which deals with your video card and monitor.

"direct rendering: No"

You had to pipe the glxinfo to grep with |. You'll need to tinker with your video drivers and kernel to enable direct rendering. For the most part this should just be a matter of downloading the drivers from ati and reading the instructions.

oh well that output was
Xlib: extension "XFree86-DRI" missing on display ":0.0".
direct rendering: No
OpenGL renderer string: Mesa GLX Indirect

seems obsolete now

okay, so how do i go over messing with the driver to enable direct rendering? ive read their online things, and i didnt find anything, all i know what to do is use the control panel, except that only shows me some opengl info, Renderer: Mesa GLX Indirect
