Further explanation of Linux Live for CD/USB?

Good Morning, I have been checking out the Linux Live for CD/USB and was wondering if anyone knew of a tutorial on exactly how to do it-the website is pretty sparse on the particulars-
( http://www.linux-live.org/ )
I'm sure someone's probably wrote something on this-does anyone know?
Thanks.

Making a Gentoo LiveCD using Linux-Live! scripts

Awesome-thank you!
Hopefully I can use this with other than Gentoo-never installed Gentoo 'cause I heard it takes hours to install-is that true Gentoo users?

not really, it can be hard if it is the fist time you do it and you're not comfortable with the command line. the last time i installed a fresh gentoo, it took me 2 hours to have running gentoo base system (and i was meticulous with the kernel options). i think a gentoo minimal install is a really good base to build a live-cd, since you can spare alot of space by compiling form source. anyway.. i think the article applies to ither distros too.
