Question Full Firefox installation

I'd like to install firefox 8 in Debian Stable 32 Bit.

I followed this guide: http://www.libre-software.net/how-to...ntu-linux-mint.
Everything works, but it seems like Firefox is not truly installed: there is no icon in the menu' and everytime I run it a nameless folder on the desktop is created.

Dispite that, if a type "firefox" in the terminal, the browser starts fine, but I'd like to install it in the system anyway..
