Fujitsu FDX 310 @ Red Hat 9

I am a Linux n00b although I know abit about computers in general. I downloaded and installed Red Hat 9 and I have the Linux drivers for my Fujitsu FDX 310 modem but the installation instructions just confused me. Help me please. I will try this for a few more days but I have to do college work and need a working pc with net connection and more than 32mb ram. If worst comes to worst il have to reinstall windows

Thx in advcance ^_^
