ftp mput only transfer one file, then close connection

Hi, I need to use mput * to speed up/automate part of the ftp.

Somehow, the mput is not working. In prompt on mode, after choosing one file, the file is transferred. Then the connection is closed. In promp off mode, the first file is transferred. Then the connection is closed.
Worse, sometimes the connection is closed when only partial file is transferred.

The actual msgs are:
mput file1? n
mput file2? y
200 PORT command successful. Consider using PASV.
150 Ok to send data.
Connection closed by remote host.

In both cases, I have to establish ftp connection, login again to resume.

I've looked into ftp conf file. Nothing to be set about mput.

Really appreciate if any of you have some info about this.

Thanks.

OK, just notice, mput works for ftp local window files to the linux server. The problem mentioned above happens to DVD (in DLA format) files, from DVD to linux.

Please let me know if any of you have been able to mput DVD files directily from DVD player.

Thanks.
