Ftp Connection through Terminal


what am I doing wrong?


ssh ftp://www.adress.com -l user


shall I do something else?

I don't understand what your trying to do. are you trying to log in and get a shell with ssh or transfer files with ftp?

ssh is secure shell and it will give you a shell on the remote machine if that machine has sshd running and the port open you can use scp to copy files but this isn't ftp.

what you want is:
ftp has its own set of commands that you'll have to look at to do anything so see:
