fstab help?
I have two USB keydrives, and an IPod. I can get to them all, no problem, but I'd like to know if it's possible to lock a device to a certain mount point. Right now, the first one to be connected gets /dev/sda1, the second gets /dev/sda2, etc. Each one of these gets a specific mount point. What I'd like to do is have the IPod always mount to /mnt/ipod, for example, regardless of whether it's /dev/sda1 or /dev/sda2.
Is this possible? |
Check tha package "udev", and the site (and link) in http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/util...plug/udev.html
