Angry fsck failure

Yesterday my Linux System (Suse 7.1) crashed, but I was able to shut it down as usual.
After I started the Computer the next time, Linux made a fsck.
This fsck returned an error message, and it was not able to fix my FileSystem
After the error Message (fsck failed. Please repair manually and reboot), I tried to run fsck manually.
Then it returned:
Warning... fsck.ext2 for device /dev/hda3 exited with signal 11.
fsck.ext2 /dev/hda3 failed (status 8)! Run it manually!

Please Help! thx.

well, why not just do what it says? run fsck manually. you *should* be given a root login for maintenenace, from there run

fsck /dev/hda3
