All I can find is this:

Wireless LAN*
Wi-FiŽ Wireless networking (802.11b/g/n)

thats not a brand though.

I updated my post.

Since my windows recovery I can't get back into debian, even after disabling secure boot.

Let me burn a live disc...may take a few

It's a lot to type out. Which one would be my wifi? Network controller?

Also, I got a Gnome3 failed to load warning. It says:

"Unfortunately, GNOME3 failed to load properly and started in the fallback mode."

"This most likely means your system (graphics hardware or driver) is not capable of delivering the full GNOME3 experience"

My screen is very dim.

So you will need firmware-realtek package.

If it's booting now why reinstall. If you have the GUI you're almost there. Download firmware-realtek copy to cd/usb & install using gdebi. Once network is up you can do it all easy.

I'm booting from a live disk, not the HDD. GRUB won't launch.
