FreeBSD 5.3 current for AMD64 Mouse Config for X

I will probably sound very ignorant in my planned frequent posting in this forum ... I am also aware that BSD is technically not Linux but is Unix and i am not sure if I should be posting in this forum but I thought you may be able to help... I only ask that you keep in mind I am posting in the newbie forum for a reason

I accidentally fumbled up the configuration of the mouse during installation... I have a 2 button w/ wheel, optical mouse... plugs in via usb... how can I set up the mouse without reinstalling?

Thx guys...

Gus

In reference to my last post... don't bother to reply... I realized at the expense of whatever pride I thought I had what I had actually done that was causing the problem... no, I am not going to say.... yes, it really is that bad...
