free command question
I have the box and here is the outpt of the free command.
# free -m total used free shared buffers cached Mem: 11857 11325 532 0 71 948 -/+ buffers/cache: 10304 1552 Swap: 2047 95 1952 Does it mean it has high memory usage? I believe 10304 MB in cache and shouldn't be a problem. Please help me to understand. |
PatrickNew gives a good explanation of what the memory usage figures mean in this thread:
