found two lines extra in my fstab


while trying to access my vi /etc/fstab I found those two lines:

devpts /dev/pts devpts gid=5,mode=620 0 0
proc /proc proc defaults 0 0

i am sure that i havent added them, does anyone know what are they?

I was able to figure out one line:

The devpts file system provides an interface to pseudo terminal

not sure of the second line?

proc is a virtual filesystem which gives information on all running processes, free RAM etc. You shouldn't really get rid of it.
