Cool forward port 9090 to XP machine?

Hi .to all ...

i have a question to all you SuperUsers,

i have one linux machine at home that iam using it as a server, i have few other XP machines as well,. my Linux server is Running Fedora and sometimes i use this command to access the web freely ..
" ssh -D9090 Username@ProxyUnixServer.com " ..

my question is can i have the same web browser settings on the XP machines so they could access the web , without SSH to the Fedora or the Proxy server ? ..

what i mean is forward the Port "9090" from Fedora to the XP , since i dont want to give out my Username+password to the XP Users..

Thank You Very much In Advance

It's not urgent to us because you don't describe the problem in the subject line AND because the subject line consists of the word Urgent. Both are internet NoNos on any forum.

No, don't bother.

Would it work for you to set up a new user on the fedora box, and ssh in from Windows using a username and key?

You can do that easily enough through a combination of putty, putty-gen and plink (all putty products)

NO!!---maybe just tell us why it is so urgent...?

I, for one, am confused about your configuration. Why not just hook all the computers (including the server) to a router--then everyone can access the internet normally.

well , own ISP has a Proxy Filter , that blocks most sites , i use this Fedora server for Media usually , somtimes i connect to the web using that commands to access like Torrent sites which are Blocked , now XP Users need to access as well , the problem is i cant Obtain the Username+password ,,

therefore i was wondering if i would just set up there their browser or something to get access from my Fedora Machine ...

hope its not to Confusing :S

that would be great , but the Fedora is already using a Web-client , since its connected to a Diffrent Server for web access ,

You could set up squid to proxy for a restricted external ACL, but don't know if that would work for a torrents, since they're not on port 80 once connected

I took the liberty to rename that thread ...

Very poor title: firstly, everyone who comes here to post thinks of their
request as urgent. Secondly, it doesn't tell us anything about the nature
of your inquiry, which means that one HAS to look at the thread (rather than
just the title) to ascertain whether one feels one could contribute to it.

For the future please choose sensible, descriptive thread titles.

Can't you just have the XP users set their http proxy setting to point to the proxy server?

let me Re-Phrase the Scenario:

i have one Linux machine the uses this Command to access Blocked sites.

ssh -D9090 Username@UnixProxyserver.com

of course with right browser setting ,

NOW , how would i allow other Systems on the Same network access those web sites without them using SSH .

Thank you In Advance.

PS:

Take it Easy iam New to this site. so Just Relax with the Modding Stuff.
