Unhappy formatting


alright i would like to install redhat 6.2 on a bit older comp becuase i know it will run right. at this point tho i start the install and everything runs fine till i choose which harddrive i want to install to, it says i dont have enough free space..but i just formatted it 5 mins before...so i think its been formatted wrong..what should i do? btw i reformated a few times using 2 different programs and when i load fdisk it wont see the drive

Depends on what file-system you used, and maybe
the partition type you chose :) ... An empty MS-DOS
partition won't make RH 6 happy.

If you have done that, delete all partitions and have
another go.

i figutred that dos wouldnt work but i dont know how to change the file system, any programs you can recommend?
