Formating

I have a hd loaded with Ubantu, but can't load software I'd like because the hardware is i386. Want to try Fedora, but can't see the drive in WinXP. Any suggestions?

You can either use the fedora disk to remove the Ubuntu partitions or gparted-live-cd/usb
