Post Force execute job given PID

Hi there,

Is there a way to force start a waiting job given its PID?

I have a set of jclusterservice java jobs, They execute fine but after it executes some jobs the rest of the jobs suddenly stop executing for a reason i am still trying to know.

When i kill the waiting jobs and re-execute the jobs from start the same situation happens.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

No. You will have to identify the resource the others are waiting for, then find out why it isn't available.

What you describe is a "live lock" situation where some server thread has lost (as in no longer has a reference to) a resource it has locked... thus no other thread can get the resource since the locking thread can't release it.

BTW, this can also happen if multiple locks are being requested, but not all the threads are doing it in the same order.
