foobar?

I have the misfortune of being new to linux and being thrust into a job that offers nothing but contempt for people that ask questions. Foobar is a term that is always used and has nothing to do with VMWARE'S app. Please point me to any information regarding the technical term Foobar.

Hi, welcome to LQ!

Never heard of 'foobar'. I know 'foo', 'bar', and 'baz' as common
IT terms, and I know 'fubar', which means:"F*cked up beyond all recognition".

Not sure what this all has to do w/ Virtualisation, though. Can
you please explain?

Cheers,
Tink
