Font sizes at sourceforge.net too small. Can my GNU/linux O.S. do anything?

kernel 2.6.21.5, GNU (slackware 12.0)

Hi:
I have entered sourceforge.net. The fonts in their pages I find I cannot change their size. Neither ^+ (cntl++) has any effect. And the resolution I have it (/etc/X11/xorg.conf) at 640x480 (in this way I have a really big screen; so, big characters).

I can't almost read that tiny characters. What can I do? Reading X's man page, Ihear about "font servers". Can they help? Regards.

Please post a link to the fonts that you downloaded.

Some font types are scalable while others are not.

My fault. I did not do enough research. I have just found (running Xfce4 as a web browser), within the browser menu, in Edit>Prefences>Content, the box 'Allow pages to choose their own fonts'. I set it to 'Do not allow'. Now I can set the font size for sourceforge pages at will.

Only that when I am in LQ, their excellent fonts are disabled and replaced by mine. A pity. So I am forced to switch back and forth the fonts settings in Preferences>Content.

About a link to the fonts, that would be much beyond the present state of my knowledge in Linux, or in any other O.S. Thanks a lot for your reply.
