fond problem


mandrake 10,0

1)how can i increase the fond size with in the vim editer.
2)and fond colour also.

Assume you meant 'font'.

It might be as simple as putting the file /usr/doc/vim-common-5.3/vimrc_example into your home directory as .vimrc.

This might help:

I NEED TO INCRASE THE FONT SIZE MAINLY.
I GOT A COLOUR EDITER.

SO PLS HELP ME ON FONT CHANGE.

I'm just guessing from memory:

Does gvim have a menu to change the font? If so you could note the command it issues when the menu is used and try it in vim.

Another possibility is the font X uses can be changed (?by using an xset command in .xsession or .xinitrc?) then vim might use that font inside X.
