Focus follows mouse...
Hi there, I am new to linux and wanted some help configuring the windows on my system. I use Fedora Core 4 and a Gnome interface.
I read in a tutorial I am reading to learn linux that using "focus follows mouse" can be helpful in a linux environment. After some research into this I really like the idea. The problem is I can't seem to get it to work properly. What I can get at the moment is when my mouse is over it window it has focus, however if I click inside the window it pops to the front. I want it to be as I was told it should be in that I have to click the bar at the top to give it focus. I want to be able to copy text from one window to a window in front of it and such. Anybody please help, I feel I have tried everything! |
Try in the Desktop Preferences menu, and select Windows.
I don't know about your problem though, because I find focus follows mouse to be a complete pain in the backside. I hope this helps --Ian |
