Go here: http://fluxbox.bottino.com/

download either the stable, or the recent bete (both work great) and then run the following command as root:

Code:
installpkg fluxbox-xxx.tgz
Then, if you have KDE installed, you can run fluxbox from kdm (from console type kdm) or, if you only want to use fluxbox, go into your home directory, open up / create .xinitrc and make sure it has the line:

Code:
fluxbox
in it.

Yeah i solved it

i export path for LD_LIBRARY_PATH
egon2.3/config/:/usr/local/lib/python2.3/config:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH
bash-2.05# export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/local/lib/python2.3/:/usr/local/lib/python2.3/:/usr/local/lib/pythn2.3/config:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH

and then i download python-config file from
http://ftp.rutgers.edu/pub/gentoo/d...g/python/files/

and move it /usr/bin/
and rename it
eg
mv /usr/bin/python-config-2.3 /usr/bin/python-config

and add /usr/bin PATH
eg
export PATh=$PATH:/usr/bin
and run ./configure and it worked

What I did

download it here:
http://ftp.rutgers.edu/pub/gentoo/de...hon-config-2.3

BEGINNING OF FILE

#!/usr/bin/python
import distutils.sysconfig, string
print "-lpython2.3 -lm -L/usr/lib/python2.3/config",string.join(string.split(distutils.sysconfig.get_config_var("MODLIBS")))

END OF FILE

saved file to home dir
in xterm:

mv ~/python-config-2.3 /usr/bin/python-config
chmod 777 /usr/bin/python-config

changed to fluxspace directory
./configure --prefix=/usr
make
make install

-----------------
Maybe I should've chmod 755 instead of 777, but I'm a total newbie. I used --prefix=/usr, so it would install to /usr/bin instead of /usr/local/bin

Hope this helps!
