Flow Chart

Hi everyone,
I m writing a script and I have a difficulty to interpret a part of it! can someone help me with the flow chart to understand how I shall do that part?
here is what I want to solve:

Display a listing of the userís directory and allow permission changes. Prompt the user to change filer permissions (y/n). If yes, prompt the user for the file name. Display the fileís permission. Ask the user to enter the add or remove the following permission: read the user, write user, execute user, read group, write group, execute group, read other, write other and execute other. After file permissions have been changed, display the fileís new permissions.

I am using the bourne shell!

thanks y'all

What don't you understand?

I dont understand the whole process!
according to me if the user chooses a file, he will have a lot of option like
1-modify the user permission
2-modify the group permission
3-modify the "other" permission
4- modify all
5-modify user+group
6-modify user+other
7-modify group+other
then if he chooses 1:
1-add X
2...
3...
itt will be so long!
is there a way to combine it easily?
