First, find out which is your firefox directory and check under its "plugins" folder.

Mine looks like:

$ ls -l /opt/firefox/plugins/*flash*

total 2080
-rwxr-x--- 1 ico640 ico640 856 2004-05-20 23:34 flashplayer.xpt
-rwxr-x--- 1 ico640 ico640 2096844 2004-05-20 23:34 libflashplayer.so

You must have those two files placed there.
Maybe your Fedora installation installed them elsewhere?

Check it out.

You can always ask Firefox which plugins has installed, by issuing "about:config" within the URL bar.
