Flash Player Install Issue

Running Fedora 12 64 bit version, when browsing the web get notifications that I need to install missing add in, flash player as it turns out. When I try to run either the install automatically or manually it fails when it is run though the installer, when I attempt to install manually I get popup notification that flash is already installed.

Any thoughts on why OS thinks I still need to install it and how to correct this issue?

Using both Firefox and Konqueror at this time are the two browsers I have used, not sure if it effects any others.
