flash player ???
 

I'm trying to install the flash player in my debian install.

I have followed the instructions (post download), when I click on a link to open a flash file, I can see the browser getting the data, but nothing is displayed on screen.

Using debian Sarge, opera 7.11 and trying to use the flashplayer 6 for linux.

any ideas ???

Oh, and it seems to work fine under mandrake, but "zip" with the debian.

Is the flash plugin recognized by Opera? (Ie: in Preferences -> somewhere (can't remember exactly) -> plugins)

I remember when I set mine up way back when, I had to create a link in Opera's plug in directory....

It's in Help - About Opera - Plugin Directory.
