Fix NFS statd [FAILED] error

Hi Guys I am receiving an error when my computer boots up and would like to know how to fix it - I am running Linux Centos 6.4 and as the machine boots and runs through the various processes it fails to start NFS and gives the error "Starting NFS statd :[FAILED]" I would like to fix this error but require a step by step process as I am still learning Linux and many of the commands are very new to me - any help would be appreciated.

Try to restart your NFS

Quote:
# service nfs start #or restart
# tail -n 20 /var/log/messages
What errors do you get?

If not start it and retry again.
