Fisrt time linux user. Kchmviewer problem. Suse 11.0
 
Hello everyone!

I just migrated from windows to linux.
I installed first linux yesterday SuSe 11.0

I got a .chm file from my friend which is a kind of tutorial for linux. but i cannot open it.

i installed kchmviewer from the suse disk.

but when i click on the .chm file it doesnt open automatically but asks as to which apllication to use for opening such kinds of files.

please help me!!

hey haxpak ,kchm will work properly in this way,

1st manually open kchmviewer from accesories and then select the .chm file manually to open .

but where to find accessories

there is no category in the what is akin to start menu of windows
"sorry i dont know its name either"

if u installed the application KchmViewer successfully,then it must be in the menu application/accessories to open

OR

if installed successfully u can get it by command kchmviewer
