Question first time linux newb needs install help


hi i really need help with my yellow dog linux on my PS3

i need flash player but dont know how to install it using terminal

also i dont know why but i cant upgrade my firefo

HELP please

i dont know where you can get flash player, but if you have an rpm, rpm -U file.rpm should install it.
same for upgrading firefox.

how well does your PS3 Linux run btw? can you play BIG games without problem?

I doubt that you will be able to install it on a PS3, it is a PPC architecture. As far as I know, Adobe's Flash Player is only available for the x86 architecture.

i would search the yellow dog site and other distros
there are a few people that have put fedora 7,8,and 9 on to there ps3's
