First Post: Neural Networks

I am exploring the use of neural networks to predict tumor molecular subtypes. I'm using the MIT STAR cluster and Amazon's EC2 Cloud Computing Service. I will update as progress is made. Any interest or suggestions from the community are welcome!

Welcome to the forums.

One suggestion is to make posts to your LQ Blog. There you'll find that it's less question oriented and allows you to post updates to your progress over time. I'm not actually sure if you can post to your log as a LQ Newbie, but pretty sure once you reach 30 posts and become a LQ Member, that it clearly will not be an issue.

As far as asking general opinions or suggestions, LQ is designed to work better where persons have started a project, put in some efforts, and then posts their progress, with them either soliciting opinions to improve their work shown, or with them indicating that they have problems they'd like to resolve and soliciting opinions as to how to resolve their problems.

Best of luck with your project, I'm sure many would like to see some of the details.
